Gerard has been bringing clarity to complex design challenges in the area of UX strategy for over a decade, having a multi-disciplined background that ranges from branding to UI design and information architecture. In his role as Director of User Experience at MacLaren McCann, he oversees work across all Canadian clients including GM Canada, MasterCard, and BayerCorp Science. He’s an active voice in the UX community, engaging in conversations about topics he enjoys or doesn’t understand via Twiiter (@gerarddolan) and his UX podcast uxDiscoverySession.com.
He is a former Vice President and member of the Board of Directors for the Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (2007-2010), a visiting lecturer at U of T’s iSchool and the Humber College Business School.
